How deep do you want to cover it?
1000 square feet covered one inch deep would be about 83.3 cubic feet.
1000 square feet covered one foot deep would be 1000 cubic feet.
1000 square feet covered two feet deep would be 2000 cubic feet.

My hard disk sp 40 don't have 40 GB is as 38202 MB

It depends on how you "count" -- 40 times 1000 times 1000 times 1000 is approximately equal to 38.202 times 1024 times 1024 times 1024.

Note that 2**10 is 1024, while 10**3 is 1000.

So, (1024/1000)**3 is approximately equal to 40(.000/38.202).

QED.

Math

Do you mean 8:1000 as a ratio?

8:1000 can also be written as 8 / 1000

This can be reduced by dividing both sides by 8

8 / 8 = 1
1000 / 8 = 125

8:1000 = 1:125

Will not do simple math

Yeah, this calculator is kind of odd in that the keys to the left of the numbers ([÷], [×] and [=]) work more like standard calculators, but the keys to the right ([-] and [+]) work more like they're RPN (more common on HP calculators). To calculate 1000-490, type "[CE/C] 1000 [+] 490 [-]". What happens is this: after clearing then entering 1000, the [+]adds it to the last result (in this case 0), giving us 1000. This number is saved when you enter 490, and pressing [-] subtracts it from the last result (1000), giving you 510.
