My hp w2007 monitor keeps going to sleep mode when turned on with the computer on

I'VE BEEN HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM FOR MONTHS - SOMETIMES THE MONITOR WILL BE FINE FOR A FEW DAYS AND OTHERS IT WILL NOT COME BACK ON NO MATTER WHAT I DO. HOWEVER, I FINALLY FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM AND THUS A SOLUTION AND IT ACTUALLY DIDN'T COST ME ANYTHING.

MY CPU DOES NOT HAVE A VGA OUTPUT SO I WAS GOING TO GO BUY A VGA/DVI CABLE ADAPTER BUT INSTEAD I FOUND A VGA/DVI ADAPTER IN THE BOX THAT MY COMPUTER CAME IN. I ATTACHED IT TO THE DVI CABLE THAT I ALREADY HAVE AND PLUGGED THE DVI END INTO MY CPU (SINCE IT ONLY HAS A DVI AND NO VGA OUTPUT) AND THEN THE VGA ADAPTER END INTO MY MONITOR AND WA LA... IT WORKS NOW AND HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT GOING TO SLEEP.

WHAT I IMAGINE IS HAPPENING IS THAT THE DVI OUTPUT ON THE MONITOR IS FAULTY - EITHER FROM THE FACTORY OR THE PINS HAVE BEEN DAMAGED SO MY CABLE WAS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. IN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG, I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW DVI CABLE AND IT STILL DIDN'T WORK SO I KNEW IT WAS NOT THE CABLE. THAT NEW CABLE WAS RETURNED TO THE STORE FOR A REFUND!

My pm800-m2 computer does power up but no beep and signal although i have changed my psu and cpu.

Hello,

check your RAM and your VGA card (if any). If the ram is not recognized by the motherboard, there is be no display at all. Also the VGA card.

So, remove the ram, clean the ram slot on your motherboard s there might be dust on it, check your VGA card if it is well fixed. Also check your VGA cord, is might be damaged, Check the pin on the cord to be sure its intact.

Do general troubleshooting your the motherboard and there should be a difference. But if there is not difference, then I think its high time you got another motherboard.

Lastly, test all the components of the motherboard with another motherboard in other to know precisely where the problem is coming from.

Be more patient with the motherboard and you will definitely get a solution.

Good luck.

Problem with VAIO PCV-RS320

The broken pins are definately the problem. Any CPU needs all the pins to work properly. This problem is solved by replacing the cpu.

My HP Pavillion will not load windows. Goes to a blank screen. It will run in safe mode though. Please help

...look like that your VGA card had a problem...unplug the power cord from your CPU and then...if you know how to open the case of the CPU then you can try to take out your VGA card from the motherboard...cleaning the VGA pin with soft and smooth cloth...then put it back to the motherboard...and also try to take out your memory from the motherboard and use the same as you cleaning the VGA and put it bank in the motherboard...and then try to turn in on again...if it's still a problem then try to use your VGA card to other motherboard and test it...if the problem still persist then you have to buy a new VGA card...

Black screen on my desktop, and connect pins are broken & bent

You'll get either no signal or missing color(s) if pins are bent or missing.

Carefully bend pins back with small needle-nose pliers. Pin 9 is missing by default - if any other pins are missing or broken, you'll need an expert to wire a new VGA plug.

Green light continously blinking in samsung sync master 753s

1. cpu problem. why because of there is no signal output from cpu to monitor. the led blinking means there is no vertical, horizontal signals from cpu to monitor.

2. your monitor connected to another system.

3. neck board dry points.

4. cheak the display cable. 13&14 pins are horizontal, vertical signals.1, 2, 3 pins , R G B , 6 ,7, 8 pins R G B ground ( coaxiler cable used , meshed wire is ground )
