Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
The frist time you turn on the laptop the bios does not detect a hard drive turn it off then on and bios detects hard drive and boot windows fine can anyone tell me why
Sounds like a loose hard drive connection, or you need a BIOS update. You should check Acer's website for an updated BIOS. You should also remove the hard drive (usually a 2 minute job with a small screw driver) and re-seat the drive.
