If it has the anti-theft device, then you need the code to unlock the radio. Just take it to the madza dealership to have it unlocked, they should'nt charge you.

Hogar - No sound from Boss Radio after initial installation test.

If you are hooked up to the factory wiring harness i would think there may be a factory amplifier that is not getting power or is bad.

Test the stereo by hooking a speaker up to the speaker out wires from head unit. if it has sound try to find out if there is a factory amplifier.

Good Luck

How do i fix the problem i have power but no sound sterio comes on but there is no sound

depends if there is a internal amplifier int this vehicle some model cars have just a radio some have a radio with built in amp usually in the dash or located in the trunk check your model to see.could be something as easy as a bad fuse or a bad wire to the amp if no amp then your radio is junk you could either replace it with another factory radio or install an aftermarket radio that will not only be cheaper but also perform better as most factory radios are poorly made .hope this helps good luck

Installed after market radio in my 2002 buick rendevous i get power to the radio but no sound

Why you buy a harness that is factory matched from Best Buy. Could be the speakers were power amped from the factory stereo and the after market is not powering them. Would call Best Buy to confirm it.

If the radio lights up then there must be power coming through. I very much doubt that it is fuse related- it sounds to me like a problem with the radio itself.

I GOT A 2002 MADZA TRIBUTE THERE A A LIGHT ON THE DASH BOARD THE SHAPE OF A HOUSE i DON'T KNOW WHAT ITS MEAN

I think the warning light is meant to be in the shape of a radiator - check your coolant level - it generally means your coolant is low. The coolant level sensor often fails on Mazda's however, so your 'problem' might actually be a dodgy sensor not a lack of coolant at all.
Hope this helps, Sherwin

How do I remove the radio?

YOU DONT HAVE TO REMOVE THE RADIO TO CHECK THE SPEAKERS. I JUST HAD NEW SPEAKERS PUT IN AND HE JUST CUT THE WIRES FROM THE FACTORY SPEAKERS AND REPLACE THEM.THE FACTORY SPEAKERS CONNECTION IS MADE DIFFERENT THAN THE REPLACMENT SPEAKERS

Car radio replacement

Does the radio power up but give no sound? If this is the case, you need to make sure the factory amplifier is first turned on. the aftermarket radio should have a remote turn on lead for amps. The Dodge caravans sometimes have Infinity sound systems in them and there may be a green wire with a red stripe in the factory side of the radio plug. This should be amp trigger. 12volts to this wire should give sound. If at all unsure, please consult a local stereo shop.
