Where can i buy a splash guard for hobart A200

There are two different splash guards fort he A200.
If you have a 12 quart bowl the splash guard is a part number 438078 and if you have the 20 quart bowl the part number is 438079.

Pushing the start button, a code of 6_9d appears. What is the issue and how can I fix this?

It's telling you that the bowl guard is open. If the bowl guard is in place and closed then you could have a bad bowl guard switch.
Check for your local Hobart office.

D300 Floor Mixer faulty bowl guard switch

If you remove the bowl guard you will see a magnet that attaches on iy in a white housing.The scews come loose and prevent it from closing the switch.Also the switch which comes out of the top pedestal can be adjusted.Let me know.

Need to change the part that holds the bowl on an 80 qt mixer...

Look behind the slides there should be 5 bolts on each side,you may have to scrap because there painted over.From the front remove the stainlees splash guard,you will see a big screw.Remove the 2 bolts in the plate,support the yoke with a block off wood and remove.

Replace motor housing

I can't believe someone hasn't answered this simple question!!!
Simply unscrew the agitator and slide the splash guard disc off.
The lower housing slides right off after you unfasten the three screw holding it to the upper housing.

Our mixer will not come on

When your guard is closed the safety switch opens.You need to remove the guard and make sure the safety switch is not full of flour.
