Question about Samsung RS2578BB Side by Side Refrigerator
The solenoid valve in the door that goes to the water dispenser is bad, but I don't know how to get to it.
Most solonoids are in the back of the unit where the water connects to the refrigerator there is a usually a fiberboard cover that you remove to gain access to the soloniod. Hope this helps.

Testimonial: "This solenoid is in the freezer door, it is right above where the water comes out, does anybody know how to pull out that part, it looks like it should be able to come out from the front, but I'm not sure."
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: water solenoid
if that's your problem...here's one place: www.samsungparts.com
Do you get ice and no water? Or neither?
Might be the solenoid or the switch. There is a diagram on the back of the box...use a multtester to be sure.
