Question about Sharp Televison & Video
My sharp tv model 20v-w70m has no sound, speaker is working and okay and also the IC but no sound is coming out
Check the input voltage to IC. If it is absent, the IC won't work. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up older posts.

Your problem has something to do with your memory ic, system and the resistors 120k placed in parallel near the flyback.
check on this.

If your SMPS IC is getting damaged all the time , you can easily source an universal SMPS unit with the required + B voltages to power your TV and this will be more reliable and will not fail as the circuit is much stable.
The failure of the STR is due to poor feedback, poor components int this section or the SM oscillations, or a faulty SM transformer.
