Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: sony lbt w300

To isolate the source of the problem disconnect all speakers and turn on the unit, if it works that means that you have to check cables and speakers. If the problem remains that means the problem is with the unit. Professional technician is required: The problem is at the power output section (Defective out put IC or Voltage error?) SOURCE: sony self lbt-lx5o push power portect comes on how to resolve the problem

Likely a problem with the amp. Buy a new one and don't run it on full power for too long. Mine got shagged when I had a party and maxed it out for 2 hours.

Read it could be excessive solder on the amp circuit heating up too much then obviously not working after it cools since the connection is messed up when the solder changes shape.

KSS-213D lens has soldered joint to protect laser diode from static voltages damage when it shipped. You need to unsold laser diode protection joint and then try.

SOURCE: i have a sony 3 disc changer mini hifi stereo

I do not have any experience on your type of hifi but i reckon dest error refers to "Destination error" the 3 disc changer has a default home position of the disc carousel that it goes to when first starting up. I would suggest that somthing is preventing the cd mechanism from getting there to it's home when it starts up. This could be from a cd or foreign object jam, broken motor( or worn motor) broken or dirty sensor that detects where the mechanism is or broken cable connecting the two.
The key to finding this out after you fix the jam, would be to note if the mechansism is travelling, whether it sounds forced or if it's not moving at all. this will tell you whether it's motor or sensor related.
As I said I don't have any experience on this one, perhaps someone more qualified could comment...
Good Luck!

SOURCE: Hi there I have a Sony LBT XG100AV Stereo System,

I have the same unit, although it's a bit old now. I used to get that problem, and the protection system is to protect the unit from over-heating, and the main cause is its because the unit is getting hot and/or there isn't enough air going through the rear of the unit. I found a fan or better air flow helps.

I could find the HST-D307. Just with Google and it was the first hit.
Should be the same manual as for the LBT, but I can't see that.

That's not even recommended. Why do you think that would help?

Re-orienting the antenna would give better results.
