I recently had code "OE" pop up during wash cycle. Was told water level sensor... replaced it and still having same problem. After surfing and reading, I stumbled upon some pdf's with help on diagnostics of the Maytag MAH9700AWW front loader (Neptune). In service mode, I can read the codes and I have "OE" and "O3". Calling didn't get anywhere. Can you help with these?

3e MOTOR RESTRICTION ERROR
Hall Sensor is sensed every 5OOms. 1 second after motor starts to work.
If data of hall sensor is less than 2 (2RPM), the Washing motor will stop at once.
During Washing and Rinsing when a motor restriction is sensed, the motor stops and then proceeds to the next water -flow action. If the motor stops working and this happens in one direction ten times, "3E" Error is displayed.
During dehydrating. when a motor restriction is sensed. the motor stops working and then returns to the initial stage of the dehydration unbalance sensing cycle. After ten times, "3E" Error isdisplayed, When the motor Is told to stop because of an operating function. no error is shown.
Power 81W OFF can clear the motor restriction error.
Over-Flow error occurs when the water level is too high. It can be cleared by turning POWER switch OFF. Water is drained prior to POWER switch OFF. The tub is drained for 2 minutes if a frequency of more than 25 KHz is detected.
That has to do with the drain itself. It can come up when the unit is draining slowly, it has nothing to do with water-level really. I would suggest makign sure that your drain hose is not crimped / crushed / or obstructed first before going onto other problems.
The code OE is a draining error. The washer has sensed that the water has not completely drained all of the water within 10 minutes and will display this error code. The grinding noise you are describing is most likely a failed drain pump or clogged with foreign debris.
Locate your drain pump access door on the front of the machine.
Clean out the filter area.
If you are unable to resolve the issue by cleaning, I would recommend replacing the drain pump.
The "OE" error code means the control detected the water level in the
machine is above the overflow level. According to your description the
first failure suspect is the water valve possibly stuck. Perform the
troubleshooting as described in the tech sheets.

Water supply does not stop after sensing an overflow condition.
