Items PY86992, how do u lock the short size?

Pack N Plays have a rule. The bottom floor MUST BE UP to raise OR lower the sides.
Raise the floor using the teather or round locking mechanism on the floor. Now raise the sides
up to locked position and then push the floor down. This is a safety for ALL Pack N Play play yards.
That should do the trick.

I cannnot get the gRECO PACK N play sides to stay up

I have the same one, its quite difficult.
It needs to click & lock in on both sides of the release buttons. Sometimes having somebody put their foot in the bottom of the play yard while you pull up on the release button will help lock it in.
You also need to have the shorter sides lock in first before trying to lock the longer sides in.

How do you put up a graco pack play

Hi, to set up the pack and play, first latch each of the four sides together. (Each side rail latches together in the middle -- just straighten the rail.) Once all four sides are locked and straight, push down on the center of the pack and play bottom (it's probably red) until it snaps into place.

To fold the pack and play up, just follow these instructions in reverse -- pull the bottom up first, then press in the button on each side rail to fold up each side.

Always make sure the pack and play is completely set up and locked before putting a child in it!

How do i get the sides to lock/ stay up on my Graco Pack and Play?

I think the problem is the way that the safety feature prevents the locking mechanism from moving while the bottom is flat Be sure that the bottom is raised about half way and the rails should lock (or unlock) for you. Hope that helps. wdeblancjr@aolcom

I bought a pack and play at a rummage sale and

Believe it or not, the rails will not lock unless the bottom is slightly raised up. Then you can flatten the bottom. Unlocking works the same way, be sure that the bottom is lifted up partially. Hope that helps, I had the same problem.
