Question about Akai PDP4294 42 in. EDTV-Ready Plasma Television
Sometimes my TV will just increase the volume or decrease by its self.
I have noticed that if I increase the volume and hit the guide button it will cause the volume to increase or conversely if I had used the volume down then guide it will go down, but then again sometimes it will just go either up or down when we have not touched the remote for a while. It is almost like someone is sitting on the remote when it goes crazy, but no one is any where near the remote.
I am not using the remote that came with the TV I am using the one that came with my cable box (M/N:1056b01).
Yes direct into the buttons the WD40 is the best thing i've ever seen, that will not damage anything you can spray it without fear and then try to activate the buttons a few times, of course with the tv off.
