Welcome to the computer age. I looked up your HP W1907 monitor. It comes with a built in microphone and speakers but no audio jack for plugging in headphones. You will need to find an audio jack on your computer tower. Most new computers have audio and microphone jacks on their front face. In most cases there will be a picture of a microphone or headphones next to the jack to tell you what it is. If you can't find one on the front, look in the back. The audio jack is usually color coded green. I hope this helps you out.

Your HP w1907 Is only a screen, it does not have a plug for your headphones.

Look on the front of you computer for a small headphone jack. They are usually a light green color.

Sir i am having problem with my hp w 1907 monitor its showing green line to the left of sreen. please suggest a solution

Make sure the cable from computer to monitor is properly connected.

If it is, try another cable (if possible).

If that does not work you'll need to contact HP Support to check if they can repair it.

Since the monitor is propably a couple of years old they might suggest you get a new one, but try anyway.!

HP w1907 LCD Monitor goes to sleep by displaying a "monitor is going to sleep"error after turning on the computer and doesnt display anything. It works intermittently, in that, if the computer has been...

so if you test the monitor on a known good PC it does what?
fails, then its the monitor
works then its the failing PC

all old HP monitors pre 2010 many had a sleep timer
so push the menu key on the monitor
then look for sleep timer and turn it off,
the monitor defaults to that mode, so dont push reset monitor or bam back to sleep mode it goes. so turn it off again.
all this is in the manual, lost yours, wana read it first?

read page 4.7 see that? (osd +advanced +) power saver OFF

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/418165/Hp-W1907-19-Lcd-Monitor.html?page=25#manual

if that fails to fix it (tested on 2 PC ) the PC1 is bad.
that be a whole other WALL OF TEXt, ask.

When I start the computer the Windows XP Logos light up on the Monitor (HP w1907) when the computer starts the Logo disappears and the monitor goes to sleep

If this monitor (HP w1907) is going into sleep mode the normally blue power led will change to yellow. This indicates loss of video signal or possible out of range resolution. If the picture goes dark and the power lite stays blue, you have a backlight malfunction. It can be an inverter power fault but this model mostly has worn out backlights causing a shutdown condition.

Hp w1907 has white screen in vga and dvi-changed computers doing same thing-tried another monitor and it works on both computers

The all white screen indicates loss of 5 VDC to the LCD panel. Either the connector is not plugged in good or (more likely) the panel itself had failed. They can develop a short that blows the 5 V fuse on the panel. Replacing the fuse normally does not fix the problem.

Monitor goes blank when reading for a few minutes on the monitor. I have an HP w1907

I started a thread on my own forum because there is a lot of discussion about this. It is out of order and I don't doubt for a second that HP knows the length of life of the components in their monitors. All of these things are tested and your talking about components used for years. They know the score by now.

My HP w1907 monitor less than a year old is turning pink!

A flickering screen with pink colour is a sign of a CCFL lamp problem.
The CCFL lamp is a mini fluro tube and it provides the back-lighting, it is definitely faulty and about to fail completely.
You need to get it repaired while it is still under warranty.

No sound from my HP w1907 monitor

This is a failure in the audio section of the control circuit. Your cable could be at fault or the circuit itself. Try switching cables or try you monitor on a different sound source. if this does not work then it is the monitors sound circuits. This requires a trip to a service center for servicing. Hope this helps.

Volume pop up in the middle of my screen

no photos of said window presented? i cant see them?
must be OSD? the monitor brain on screen display (menu)?
even with the DVI cable pulled?
only a monitor stated, w1907, no PC
some monitors have button lock
read the manual ?oops HP deleted it...
it tells you to push the menu key on the monitor for 10 seconds
and it unlocks. (4 buttons right side left button is MENU)
doom?
that power deal sounds super bad, like the power supply is bad.
if the monitor fails by its self not plugged it to a PC
then the monitors is bad.
try a reset on it? ( power off for 1hr, or off then plug in with power button held? or power on with menu held (wild guesses but common practice)
ok found your manual page 4-8 shows menu page advanced
list line in list factory reset.
but if the keys are dead, and power lamp failing
the power supply is no good or worse. worse is always possible.
and expensive

ever see the support page, read the guides

its over 10 years old now. 2007?
walmart has larger one for $50
cheaper that parts or repair this.... vastly

If it was working fine why install additional software? Try booting into safe mode and uninstalling the software or drivers.
