Question about Compaq Presario 700 470024-192 Notebook
My keyboard on a Dell Inspiron 5100 laptop is malfunctioning. When I press the L key it logs the user off. The G key pulls up another window and the R key pulls up the run screen. How do I fix that problem. If I restart the computer it fixes it temporarily.
Mine has a prob like that too. my solution when i power on my pc i pressed f12 key until the windows show try it hope it helps

It sounds like the Windows is registering the "Windows Key" as being in the "Pressed" position. This is the key between control and alt on the left side of the keyboard. Press it a few times and see if that helps. If it does not it sounds like that key or the keyboard may need replacement.
