Kodak m67 8mm movie projector struck in rev lever can be move to forward but miss run backwards

it is hard to explain but there is a metal pin on one of the mechanisms it can become bent out of place. you need to remove it and heat it up and put back straight. dont try to bend it straight as it will snap or the pin will come out of the metal part.

I have a kodak carousel model 450H and it will not advance or load the slide. All it does is click

Double-check that model number. Kodak did not make a projector with that combination of numbers & letters.

Excessively short lamp life is usually caused by material building up on the lamp socket terminals, caused by arcing. This material build-up causes higher current loads and will ultimately shorten lamp life. A new lamp socket is a simple solution to your problem!

Does bulb need replacement?

I had same problem.
You have to load the slides so there is something to be projected.
