Hi, If red light blinks 3 times when tv refuse to power up then check lamp cover that was removed to replace lamp, make sure lamp cover is fixed in its position securely and screw is tight. Let me know how many times red light is blinking after three second long pause IF it is not blinking 3 times. Thanks.
HOW MANY TIMES IS THE RED LED BLINKING? IF IT IS BLINKING 3 TIMES MAKE SURE THAT THE LAMP DOOR YOU TOOK OFF TO CHANGE THE LAMP IS INSTALLED BACK ONTO THE TV AND IS SECURE.
orcording to service manual a blink of 3 indicates a loose lamp door or a inproperly seated lamp....have you recently replace the lamp? and this cound also mean the lamp is begining to fail. reseat the lamp and check the door. make sure the air vents are cleared
Hi, Question shows tv is Sony KDF-60WF655. Green light blinks when tv gets prepare to fire up lamp, check internal circuits then show picture on front screen. Red light blinking shows some kind of internal problem during circuit check and protection got activated upon some failure. Count the red light blink as you will see 3 second long pause and post it here to diagnose what section of tv got problem. Did you replaced its lamp in last 2-3 years? Thanks.
Did you replaced lamp in TV recently? I think TV needs new lamp as existing is either broken or dead. Lamp replacement procedure would be mentioned in user manual or let me know to provide you more info. Thanks.
bad lamp driver, if you have already replaced the lamp. If not, try replacing the lamp WITH AN ORIGINAL SONY LAMP!. Don't waste time with cheap replacements, you get what you pay for.
