Question about Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher

1 Answer

Gook build up in the area underneath the bottom rotating sprayer

There is brown gook in the compartment underneath the bottom sprayer that is vented - I can get in there with a sharp object - is there a way to remove the part that the rotating sprayer connects to? Also - the filter on the door panel is also filled with gross stuff and now there seems to be black stuff building up behind the silverware basket(which is on the door panel) - is there a way to clean this?

Thank you!!!!!! I've just cleaned out my screens and the food chopper area. Disgusting! Along with pistachio shells, some broken glass, apple stems, 2 toothpicks, an airsoft gun pellet, and a few bone pieces, I'm 99% positive there was a slug in there, too. Eeek! Cannot wait to have clean glasses again...and to surprise my husband that he doesn't have to do it! Yippee! Thank you again!
