I have a refurbed Gateway M-7315u that I purcased at the beginnin of march from TigerDirect.com. Last week, the laptop screen started up blank and went to stripes. I called Renovate (because TigerDirect only had a 30 day warranty)and that Tech told me to do a full system restore. So, I took off all important files and did so using Gateway Recovery Management. The screen worked for several restarts, but failed on the forth. Is there anything else that I can do? Thanks in advance
It has gotten worse: the laptop took a tumble in the middle of the second full system restore and now there is not OS on the laptop! I am trying to use a secondary usb cd drive to start up from the OS disk, but no luck...argh!
