The Mavica MVC-FD100 has spec for the std. memory stick and does not allow use of the newer Pro-Duo memory stick. Buy an old used std. memory stick on ebay to fix your problem.

Can you post the make and model, so that we can help you find it ?

I checked the book, this means a camera malfunction that you cant reverse, but they say using the reset on the bottom of the camera will fix, this is a tiny hole under the lens area, you have to push in with a pin, this erases all settings, will have to reset day date ect. You need to format the floppy disc by selecting file, then disc tool, and then format in the menu system. Instructions on how to do this are on page 52 of your user manual. Remember that formatting the disc will erase any images on it even protected ones. I hope this helps!
