Problem to turn on Philips TV

My Philips TV (27PT563S) doesn’t stay turned on when it is on.  It turns it self off but the power light (green) is still on.  I have to repeat on and off several times to get it stay on.  The situation is getting worse overtime, I have to turn it on and off several times before it stays on.  Also, the picture looks faded initially and get clearer overtime.  Please help.

Tv works fine until you turn it off, when you turn it back on the green light shuts off and the tv totally dies, the red light thats on when its turned off is not working either. Now if you unplug it for...

check all caps in the power supply especially the 10mf 22vols cap.the caps are not filtering the voltage properly when the the current i off the caps drain the voltage and does not keep charging.until when current is applied to the set.good luck.

Philips tv powered off and wont turn back on

There is a smt located at 7404 [C-6 Bottom] A common problem, does the tv make a sound like it wants to come on? Location 3239 should be small resistor, 3414 another resistor and a driver transformer at 5402 if it looks burned. See MCM electronics website and see if there is a kit to repair this. Or ask for part #s as per location of problem area mentioned. What you will be doing is changing the timing so all the components will come on at the same time. If this is done correctly you will notice the top of tv screen will flash red, green and blue lines. This will be the new norm each time you turn it on. But it will be OK. This is what the flashing green light is telling you. signed the Green Lantern7!!!!!!!

TV Turning on and off by its self

You have problems with a condenser that allow the power supply to maintan an acceptable level of voltage in order to keep the TV on. take to a tech to be fixed. unfortunatelly, this problem needs a tech to take measures in the circuitry to find the component that causes the problem.

Same problem. The power button does not work. The volume and channel buttons turn the tv on. the tv then shuts its self off 15 seconds later. the red light blinks in second intervals while this happens.
