My NordicTrack T5zi Walking Belt Treadmill won't

Very likely your console went out. I usually check for voltage running to the console (the wires in the back) and if it has juice but will not come on, I replace the console. As far as "why", usually it is power fluctuations, it can be as simple as turning on a high-amperage piece of equipment, or running too many electronics on the same circuit. I see consoles go out from low voltage more often than high voltage.

Error 100 won't connect to network anymore to use ifit live

Check the power cord to ensure it is connected to the power supply and the treadmill if the power does not stay on or does not turn on. Look at the circuit breaker, located near the base of the unit, to see if the circuit was tripped. Push the switch back in to reset the circuit.

  • 2 Take the key out of the console, wait a minute and place it back in the console to resolve issues with the power turning on and off during use or if the console displays are not functioning properly.
  • 3 Remove the console key and press the "Stop" button to turn off the "Demo" mode, which is often the default setting when the treadmill is first purchased.
  • 4 Reset the incline by holding down the "Stop" and "Speed increase" buttons and putting in the console key. Release the buttons and then press the "Stop" button, followed by the down or up arrows for the incline. This step can be taken if errors are occurring with the incline function.
  • 5 Turn the treadmill "Off" and unplug the unit if errors continue. Wait five minutes and then plug the unit back on, insert the console key, and turn the treadmill "On." This will reset the treadmill and should return to normal funcTION

A frog wishes to jump off the end of a 9.9 incline. It starts at the bottom of the incline. How many jumps will it take if every jump is 1 m and if it slides back 0.5 m after each jump?

Let x be number of jumps forward and y number of times frog slides back while on incline. y will be x-1 because the last time frog jumps, it will jump off the incline so it can't slide back on the incline anymore. Now you know that every jump is 1m so the displacement made by jumping is 1*x meters and displacement made by sliding back is -0.5*(x-1) meters (minus sign is because frog moves backward by sliding). So x-0.5(x-1)=9.9 or 0.5x=9.9-0.5=9.4 so x=9.4/0.5=19 jumps. It will take frog 19 jumps to jump off the end of incline.

    I hope I helped :)

If the console takes batteries, replace them. If this does not work or your console does not require batteries, check the reed switch or optic sensor. Reed Switch: Unplug the treadmill and remove the motor hood cover. The reed switch is mounted on the frame next to the front roller pulley. There is a magnet glued into the front roller pulley. When adjusting the reed switch, make sure it is pointing directly at the magnet. Move the tip of the reed switch within 1/8" of the magnet. Also, check to see that the wire is not damaged, and is connected to the console.
Optic Sensor: Unplug the treadmill and remove the motor hood cover. The optic disk and sensor are located either at the end of the motor or the right hand side of the front roller. The optic disk spins between two sensors on the optic switch. The disk must spin freely without touching either sensor. The sensors can be moved by loosening the adjustment bolt holding the switch to its bracket. The switch can then be slid. Center the disk.

    Same exact thing

The incline is trying to calibrate if you let it do it till it is done it should stop. If it continually trys to incline every time you use it there is a incline sensor out of position or the console is bad.
