Question about Whirlpool Gold Duet GHW9400P 3.8 Cu. Ft. Front-Loading Washer
There is a coin or something stuck under the tumbler and it is LOUD when it spins. I have taken the top and back off and was going to separate the plastic housing on the tumbler and pull it out but cant seem to get the shock absorbers off on the bottom or the spring tension released on top to separate the halves? Any advice short of calling a repair service out? Thanks much, Mike
I had this problem. It was a nail sticking through one of the holes in the drum.

If you dont have screws on your tumbling vanes, you can take a very small screw driver and lightly lift the vain enough for the coins to slide out.

Same problem with my Duet Washer as mcal. I have several coins inside the washer tumbler trapped and they slide down to the lowest level as you hand-spin the drum. Since the drum is tilted, the coins are all in back. Is there an easy way to remove them?
coin stuck under drum
Have coin or screw inside tumbler housing. It beats against the drum when in the spin cycle and sometimes sounds like a jackhammer. Can't get to it. I'm very disappionted with both my Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer. I've only had them a year. Had to replace the electrontic board on the dryer ($300 for the part). Now this.
have a coin stuck in the drum
