Question about Whirlpool Gold Duet GHW9400P 3.8 Cu. Ft. Front-Loading Washer
There is a coin or something stuck under the tumbler and it is LOUD when it spins. I have taken the top and back off and was going to separate the plastic housing on the tumbler and pull it out but cant seem to get the shock absorbers off on the bottom or the spring tension released on top to separate the halves? Any advice short of calling a repair service out? Thanks much, Mike
I had this problem. It was a nail sticking through one of the holes in the drum.

If you dont have screws on your tumbling vanes, you can take a very small screw driver and lightly lift the vain enough for the coins to slide out.

Im going to try to help with this one so bear with me im having a hard time under standing this problem there is a gap between the inner and outer tub of about 2" so its hard for me to under stand how spinning the inner tub by hand could make coins on the bottom of the inner tub move now the drain pump runs all the time the unit is spinning and coins can and do get down there and rattle aginst the impeller thats not hard to fix reply for that one next look at the tumbling vanes in the tub see if they screw on if they do then coins could get under there just remove them and check
