Where can I get a manual for portable grand D6X640 Yamaha piano

Do you mean the DGX-640? To my knowledge, Yamaha doesn't have a D6X line of keyboards. Most of Yamaha's manuals are available from their support page: http://download.yamaha.com/top/?site=usa.yamaha.com&language=en . The DGX-640 support page is http://download.yamaha.com/search/product/?language=en&site=usa.yamaha.com&category_id=16084&product_id=1056822 . Scroll down to find the owner's manual in various languages and other documents. Yamaha provides javascript links to the manuals on the site; these do not resolve to specific direct links in my browser history.

I hope this helps.

Manual for PSR 270 KEYBOARD

Yamaha has the manual for the PSR-270 keyboard on the product site: http://usa.yamaha.com/products/musical-instruments/keyboards/digitalkeyboards/portable_keyboards/psr270/ . Click on the support tab. The direct link to the manual (in English) shows in my history as: http://download.yamaha.com/api/asset/file/?language=en&site=usa.yamaha.com&asset_id=35052 .

I hope this helps.

Casio PX575R Keyboard

Hi, Tracey.
There are three publications that may be helpful for you on the Casio support site:
http://support.casio.com/manualfile.php?rgn=5&cid=008009009
One is a User Manual. It includes a trouble shooting guide. Another is an appendix with a lot of "stops," or registration settings (voices). Also, there is a MIDI implementation guide. If you are needful of factory repairs, I think you will have to be in touch with Casio directly:
https://inquiry.casio.co.jp/support/contact/form_I_en_f1.html
Good luck to you. Truly.

My microwave oven EM-D975 won't rotate can u please help

Some micro's have either a belt, like a rubber band, or the motor is direct drive...both have a moter drive..you will have to take the back off to see if either is turning...and go from there...

Sy85 floppy drive

It could possibly be the drive belt on your disc drive. The original drive used on the keyboard was not direct drive, over a period of time the belt wears and either slips or perishes. You might think it is still working as the motor spins and sounds as if there is life.

Take the drive out and look under the drive to see if belt is there if not replace.

Belt should go around black disc and brass capstan.

Anybody you know who restore turntables?

Most turntables require a new drive belt. The cartridge sometimes needs replacing. Cahngers require much more maintenance. Hardly anybody does this anymore... but if belt has deteriorated, that is DIY as you can find suppliers of the belt online.

Our aviom system does not show a signal coming from the sound board into the aviom system. We did have a few lightning storms during last week, and now the system is down. Is there any way of trouble...

The probllem MAY be with the driver in the sound board. I would use one of your Aviom units right at the sound board interface and see if short direct connect works. I assume you power the A16D from the same receptacle as your sound board... IF NOT you are asking for damage due to ground bounce in your house wiring. You need a separate power run between your mixer an all other interconnected devices. The coupling from nearby lightning strikes could create enough electromagnetics to exceed the common mode capability of the devices. The drive from the interface at the sound board would be lower impedance and could easily be the most vulnerablle to transients as the protection is less since the drivers are assumed to be driving. If the power was off during the storms, then the drivers are left unprotected. Again, the way to troubleshoot this is to FIRST verify that the interface in the board is operational before blaming the distribution box.

I am trying to find a source for repair parts for my Yamaha PSR-630 synthesizer. The specific part is a lamp assembly to backlight the LCD screen, on which are the following:Yamaha XT 155 BL

Go directely to Yamaha Parts. Try this site:

https://www.yamaha24x7.com/yamahaoms/Login.aspx

I believe they are in California. Most of their LCD's the whole thing is an assembly so you may not be able to get the backlight separately. Not sure what type you have but the PSR640 has a CCL type flourescent. The usual failure is in the inverter that drives it, however both the lamp and the inverter often go bad. The CCL lamps are availablle from different sources but you need to check the inverter as it may be the cause of no backlight. Here is link to the schematic for a PSR640 which may be very close to your 630 model:

http://elektrotanya.com/yamaha_psr-640_psr-740.pdf/download.html

Scroll down to "Get Manual" on the page and click on it to download the service manual.

Record player does not turn everything else works, but when you turn the nob to phono, turntable does not work

Usually there is a belt that drives the turntable. Sometimes it is hidden under the turntable and you lift the rubber record pad to access it. They fall off or deteriorate causing these problems.

I have a clavinova CVP 409. If I try to record using an external memory device (external Hard drive or memory stick, a message appears; DISC ERROR. Can you please help me solve the problem or direct me...

I SUSPECT that the CVP 409 will ONLY talk to the Yamaha USB floppy drive, not a hard drive or memory stick.

The internal drivers for these musical instruments do not have the "smarts" to talk to the wide variety of peripherals that PC's are able to.
