The battery could be worn down or damaged. Take the back cover and remove the battery and clean the pins on the battery and the phone with a brush and pop it back in and see if the problem is fixed. Also check the power button and check that there is no residue build up that can make it get "stuck" down thus making it shut down. Good Luck

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

ENV2 FRONT KEYPAD DOES NOT WORK AT ALL AND RANDOMLY POWERS DOWN. 12 DAYS PAST 1 YEAR WARRANTY. WILL THEY STILL REPLACE?

I had the same problem with my front keypad as this before and did not have any kind of warranty and verizon replaced the phone because it is a known factory defect. I have a feeling that this happens somewhat easily with this phone, as my replacement is starting to do the same thing. As for the powering down randomly, its just another defect that everyone I know with this phone has had.
