Can't open existing PDF using Capture Perfect

I can't open a PDF file in Capture Perfect in order to add more pages from the scanner. Error says can't open PDF since not created in Capture Perfect. However it WAS created in Capture Perfect, but may have been recently opened in Adobe Acrobat. Why won't it open?

SOURCE: Acrobat and Canon DR-9080C not working

You are right, it is driver related issue. Acobat 9 has more features that may not be compatible with the existing driver. may be you can use CapturePerfect and directly create PDF and then use the Optimising features of Acrobat 9. Ofcourse you have to do it twice, but you can use the 'batch' process and do it automatically.

Pl can you tell me how to add page in existing pdf file step by setp

Hello,

There are many tools available to edit the Pdf File. But i would recommend the pdf file to convert in doc or rtf format. you can use this website to convert it first www.pdftoword.com
Once this website is opened you need to add the file in it and convert it and save it in your hard drive. Once its save edit the document using Office or open office once you have it edited you need to convert it back again to pdf.
Use this website to convert it from doc or docx to pdf click in here to open the website www.doc2pdf.net

Thanks

Won't scan to PDF with Capture Perfect 2.0; Error

There are two versions 2.0 and 2.3. One of them converts to PDF without PAFCV2.dll load error. Try and down load from http://software.canon-europe.com/software/0022439.asp?model= Incase this doesnot work, you need the other version.
I generally dont do direct conversion to PDF. I clean the images, create multipage and then convert to PDF and hence don't know which version works. I have both versions. Incase the downloaded version does not work, pls send a mail to [email protected] I shall send you a copy.

How do I add multiple pages to one scanned doucment?

Open your Adobe Acrobat (e.g., 9.0 Pro), load your pages into the document feeder (fewer than 30 at a time), then ask Adobe Acrobat to create PDF from scanner (File/Create PDF/From Scanner). Canon MP530 as the scanner and click OK. Works like a charm!

When ever I scan, Capture Perfect adds zero's to

On the screen "scan batch to file setting" in the middle of the page under "save as type" change "type of batch separation" to "none". This will fix the problem.

I have a canon DR-9080c that gives me a PAFCV2.DLL load error

I have resolved this in the past and a new user just brought it up again.

The pafcv2.dll in Captureperfect 2 does not seem to work. If you install CapturePerfect 3 and copy the pafcv2.dll into captureperfect (c:\program files\canon electronics\captureperfect2 or whatever install path you used), you will find that you can now scan into PDF, even in batches!

SCAN ORDER

This is almost impossible! THe scanner will scan only one page/image at a time and immediately stored. The roller can pickup only the top page. Are you converting them to a multipage PDF file? Is there any setting in creation of PDF file? If problem still persists, try and reinstall the software after uninstalling the existing version.

Scanner command invalid in current state

I have not used CapturePerfect 3.0. Hope the scanner is just fine. Try count only mode to check if it is okay.

Uninstall Captureperfect. Run chkdsk/scandisk to check if OS is ok. Reinstall Captureperfect again and it should work.
