SOURCE: i tried jail breaking ipod and it wont turn on

Okay. if your jailbreaking is not working than it is something to do with who or from where you bought your ipod or the jailbreak program. If you are wanting to jailbreak your ipod i reaccoment the program HiJackThis it worked on my old ipod touch. But A word of warning. after i jailbreaked by ipod i dropped it and the screen cracked. they would not fix my iPod for the single reason that by "Jail Breaking" your iPod you break you warrenty and Apple will no longer repair it.

SOURCE: I new help jail breaking my ipod touch 4th gen

I am sorry but it cannot be done with 4.3.5 yet, as the newest is available jailbreak is for 4.3.3. If you know how to downgrade to that firmware, which is a very difficult process, you could use the most simplest way of jailbreaking that doesn't even involve a computer, jailbreakme 3.0.
Between each major ios release, there is a small window where jailbreaking is made possible and easy, but that window has closed untill ios 5.0 is released in Spetember I beleive. Use Jailbreak Matrix as an information site with very easy to understand information. Sorry i couldn't of been much help to you.

My ipod works, it just has a white screen, i tried holding the sleep/wake button menu, and restoring it and still have the same white screen...

Open Itunes on your computer. Unplug ipod if it's plugged in.
Turn Ipod off (with sleep/wake and home button).
Hold home button down and simultaneously plug in the Ipod again.
Keep holding it (home) until the screen is an apple with a usb underneath it (Itunes sign).
Then in Itunes choose restore your Ipod.

If it's jailbroken go through the Jailbreak process again.

Wifi wont work

you should try reseting your ipod. you can do this by holding the sleep button and menu button at the same time. If this does not work your warrenty should cover it.

When clicking the unlock button the ipod says "iPod is disabled"

Do these steps to make you device work again:
  1. Plug/connect your device to a computer (PC or Mac)
  2. Turn it OFF
  3. Press and hold the POWER and HOME buttons together for EXACTLY 10seconds
  4. Release the POWER button but keep holding the HOME button until the computer beeps indicating that a USB device is recognized.
  5. Open iTunes and restore your device.

Warning: Restoring will delete all data on your device but this is the only way for you to recover it..

If you don't get it at first, try holding the buttons for lesser time or see the other procedures on my tip (link below):

The touch screen on my iphone 3g wont work

This is what you should do:
Press and hold both the power and the home button until the Apple logo comes up. Release the buttons at that point.
That way, you will force restart your device and it should respond to your touch.

Wifi grey area

Here is a way that solved the problem for me.
Downgrade the ipod touch to firmware 1.1.4. You have to put your ipod into DFU mode ('not recovery mode) and you have to have an itunes version that supports this old firmware. 7.5 oder 7.7 i think.
to load your own firmware you simply hold the shift-button while you push the restore button.

After you have firmware 1.1.4 on your ipod touch, download the jailbreaker "Ziphone". This programm has the option to fix the "no Wifi" problem. Look in the advanced options.
In my case, this was the only thing that solved the problem. I tried restoring it often but nothing worked.
After Ziphone fixed your Problem, you can update the Touch to the latest firmware. Wifi was still working, at least for me

Ipod touch v2 stuck at itunes connect

your ipod was jailbroken and now it is not.
no worries, go to quickpwn.com

Download the quickpwn software and jailbreak your ipod.
It's pretty easy,

but first what I would do, is download the itouch firmware version you want to restore to.
the file name will be something like this: iPod1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw

Put your ipod in DFU mode:
Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} Plug the usb cable into the Ipod and NOT into the computer.
Hold the Home Button down for 5 second (do not release it)
Then Press and hold the Power Button for approx 10 secs (count them out)
Your iPod will reboot.
Release the power button and continue holding the Home button for an additional 27secs.
You may see the screen go blank or not.
Plug the USB end into the computer with itunes open.
Your ipod will mount in recovery mode.
Restore it by pressing Restore and Shift at the same time. This will allow you to select the ipod firmware you downloaded.
Restore it and then do your jailbreak.
It will ask for the same firmware version you just restored to.
find it on your computer and do the J/B
I have the firmware on my computer, shoot me an email and i will send it,just let me know if you have a 1st Gen or 2nd Gen
