You can do a system restore by clicking start>all programs>accesories>system tools>system restore You can restore your computer to an earlier date just follow the instructions and restore it to the closest date to the date of purchase. You can also go on-line and order system restore disks from the manufacturer. The memory on a laptop is under a cover on the bottom of the laptop. Use a screwdriver to remove a cover and you can find the memory there. You should look up the make and model of the laptop to find out how much and what type of memory the motherboard / laptop will hold. Memory is easy to replace just pop out the existing chip and install the new on making sure you static discharge yourself before sticking your hands in it. You can usually do this by touching a metal case for a desktop that is plugged in or anything that is plugged in to a wall outlet and is grounded. When your finished, go to my computer. Right click and go to properties to see if your memory is being recognized by the PC. Then just re-install the apps. I hope this helps.

AOD270-1824 can i put a 4gb ram in it

You can add 1GB of ram but that's it. Definately not a 2GB Stick or 4GB stick.

How to upgrade the video card?

You will have to add a new card to the motherboard. Open the cover and insert the new card in a slot and close the cover. Run Windows. Run the driver CD of the new card to install the drivers . From Control Panel->System->HW->Device Manager select the old card and disable it. Also check if the new card shows. Reboot the computer and connect the video cable to the new card. Your new card is functional now. Go to Control Panel->Display->Settings and configure Colors and Resolution of the new card.

2G memory card not working

Hi,

If the original memory card (RAM Stick) is working, then it just means two things; either the 2GB memory card is defective or incompatible with your system. Incompatible means the type is not for your motherboard or the 2GB is more than what your computer can handle. You dont need any drivers for your memory card (RAM).

Try to install a 1GB first and check if it is working. make sure the type (ddr,ddr2,ddr3) is the same as the original and the Bus speed (3200,667,800,etc.) is the same as well to eliminate incompatibility errors.

Hope this helps.

Hi, my Asus a8m has 512 mb of ram. I'm considering buying a macbook, but wondering if it would be worth upgrading to 1 or 2 mb of ram and having a professional 'clean out' my asus. Would it be worth it?...

max supported memory is 2GB (2x1GB sticks replacing your current memory). Yes, it'd be worth it to add more memory of you were keeping the machine, otherwise restore it to original configuration and sell it "as is". Don't get a professional, just used your ASUSes restore option to set it back to factory configuration.

I have an N81 that shows memory low delete some data, i have no data stored in Phone memory... how to salve this problem

This is the solve for problem
just type the following on your phone screen in active standby mode: *#7370# , the message will appear restore original phone settings select yes. Your phone will be restored to out of factory state. You would then have 20 mb free memory. The down side is onceyou have formatted the phomemory you will lose newly installed applications. Dont worry your original applications will be there, Inly your phone memory will be formatted like formatting your memory card. After doing this format your memory card too. I did this to install new Ngage 1.21 1552 & ovi Maps 3.0 on my N!-81 2gb model

Upgrade Acer Aspire m1100

Is you are going to do a complete overhaul, you are better off going with a ASUS motherboard, with a processor, and 4 GB of memory. Here is a good place to get all these parts and your computer will run REALLY great.

Memory Upgrade

I believe the max you can go with per slot is 1gb.

This is copied from the Acer site:

Up to 4 GB of DDR2 533/667/800 MHz SDRAM

Micro card

When I bought the phone I wanted to use a bigger Memory card. I was told it will only recognize 2gb. The booklet that comes with phone says the same thing, so would assume that is why it says full. Assuming of course youre trying to use more than 2gb at the moment.
