Windows won't start after adding ram

You can add a graphic card 1 x AGP slot (8x/4x-AGP 3.0 compliant), supports 1.5v display card only.
And Max capacity: Up to 2GB DDR400 RAM by 2 DIMM slots.

ATI/AMD makes very good graphic cards.

Adding a graphic card on the mainboard will not slow the physical memory. It has it`s own ram.

Have you added any new RAM to your Laptop? Try resitting the RAMs. If the problem error 7 still occur, then remove the piece of added RAM.

You can download the memory test software from www.memtest.org to check if your any of the RAMs faulty?

Have you try to re-install your Windows, use CD driver to install it and let it boot from CD.

assuming your running th correct memory modules(same clock speed and size) you ahould have more useable. switch the larger one out to the nexxt slot and see if that fixes it. if not then just use the 2 gb by itself. this is more than enough for windows 7

computer beeps not booting

Well If its windows xp 32bit OS then it only reads 2.5. I run xp x32 bit with 4 gb ram and i only list 2.7gb ram. Its nothing to worry about. Your system is actually using all of you ram even though windows isn't posting all of it.

Orginally your unit comes with 256MB of RAM wit a shared 64MB of VGA. If you haven't added any RAM yet, then I suggest upgrade it by adding another 512MB or 1 GB of DDR PC2700.
