Checked all fuses and speaker connections.

Check your audio cables are plugged into the correct inputs. They must match (Input 1 , Input2, etc). you can also check the cables to see if they are good. Use an OHM meter. You can buy a cheap one at radio shack. Or even better - buy another set of audio cables.

I have the philips hts3440/37 none of the speakers work.

Doubtful that it is as serious as a fuse, unless it was working before and now it's not.

Are you getting no sound when watching DVD's? Try adjusting the volume on the home theater system - press the SURR button until it says "Dolby" or something like that.

Make sure it is connected like this:

No sound or power


Before the setup of the speakers' channels
  • Press the SURR. button on the remote to select multichannel surround mode before adjusting the speaker settings.
  • In case of sound distortion, press and hold the SOUND button to select another transmission channel for the wireless rear speakers.
Setting Speakers' Channels
  1. Press 060227073157_11231.jpg to stop playback, then press SYSTEM MENU.
  2. Press 060227073234_11234.jpg repeatedly to select { Audio Setup Page }.
  3. Press 060227073211_11232.jpg060227073221_11233.jpg to highlight { Speaker Setup Page }, then press 060227073234_11234.jpg.

  4. Enter its submenu by pressing 060227073234_11234.jpg.
  5. Press 060227073211_11232.jpg060227073221_11233.jpg to highlight one of the options below at a time, then press 060227073234_11234.jpg.

    • { Speakers Volume } – Volume level setting for individual speakers (-6dB – +6dB).

    • { Speakers Delay } – Delay times setting in relation to the listening position/ distance for centre and surround speakers.

  6. Press 060227073245_11235.jpg060227073234_11234.jpg to adjust to the setting that best suit your surround sound needs.
  7. Press OK to confirm.
  • 1 ms increase/decrease of delay time is equivalent to 30 cm change in distance. Use the longer delay time settings when the rear speakers are closer to the listener than the front speakers.
  • The test tone will automatically be generated to help you judge the sound level of each speaker.

No sound

hi let me tell you that you technics if it plays for period of time then blocks usually this problem lead with auto protection before you really burn it.......firs check all the wires well connected to speakers,check each speaker with a baterry it will pop up...if you do all above i wish you luck... if the problem is most serius needs a resoldering action or even change something overheated components. take it for qualified professional and the cost may vary where you live....... saludos

You need to take apart tthe sub woofer and check the connection to bass speaker for continuity. It sounds like an internal broken connection to speaker on sub woofer unit.

in this case the audio is good but the output speaker is not working because you have blown fuse at the amplifier section thats why cant hear the sounds... check the amplifier section then check the fuse speaker protector.. replace a new fuses with the same rate....

you wil get the sound from the surround speakers only but not from tv first connect all the speakers that are given to the player correctly then you can get perfect sounds with dts...

check connections to bass module amp. and ensure that it is powered on and turned up . no blown fuses or loosely connected cables. to and from amp. especially those to stellite speakers.

RCA RT2250R P.O.S. no sound

The blinking speakers mean the unit is waiting for an input. It could be that the input section is faulty, but I need more details.

What input is being used?
what speakers are connected and to where?
what is the audio source?
