You need to reset the printer. Please follow the instructions in this link, and if that doesn't work, try this link.
If neither is successful, you may have to have the unit serviced, but usually one or the other method will get your printer back online.

If you have allowed enough ink cartridges to empty, the printer will not work. Try replacing all empty or near empty cartridges and see if that helps. The same thing happened to mine.
