Run time error 13 type mismatch

I have recently re-installed AstroGeometry84817 for the 3rd time. It opens from the installation area, but after I close it I get the Run-time error '13' type mismatch error. I have scanned the file, my computer, and de-fragged it. ?!?!?! My computer is a gateway pentium4 with windows xp. All the info I'm getting on this in mysearches if for computer programmers, which I am not. Is there any software that will fix this?

It could be (and I am not a programmer either) is that there is somecorrupt entry in the registry or in the installation folder of yourAstro program.

This is what I would do.Try do completely de-install the program. I would use the free revo-uninstaller (you can get it here) and choose option 4 (Advanced). Delete all associated files that the program finds.
The huge advantage over MS's Add or Remove Programs is, that it also catches unnecessary program files left behind on your computer.

Download ccleaner (from here, make sure not to install the stupid Yahoo! Toolbar in "Install Options"!) and install it. Don't run it yet!
Restart your computer and run ccleaner (both clean and Registry)and get rid of all the ****. If you want to be super careful, you havethe option to make a registry backup from within ccleaner.

This way you (hopefully) have deleted any traces of older installations of the Astro program.

Restart your computer again after the cleanup and try to re-install your program again.

If you have any more questions or this suggestion did not work, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.

I have a zebra p520i printer. My company recently upgraded to a windows 7 operating system. The old drivers v2.00 will not work with windows 7. Where do I find the proper drivers?

You could try here

http://www.bravofiles.com/download/P520i-USB-Card-Printer-8Jdu4kedAQ.html

This is a discontinued product so future drivers might be unlikely.

Hi,

You are having a non compatible memory frequency. foe you to stop having blue screen of death, you should ensure that the memory frequency matches the MOBO frequency. sometime you can change the settings in certain BIOS by pressing Del key.

What is a error C2563: mismatch in formal parameter list in c++ language

ok, look at the following example

void Run(string* message, char& type)

in the program I put

Run("help");

this will result in the mismatch error as there are two parameters not one.

Acer Aspire 5920 alt f10 to use my recovery dsk mismatch d2d32

This a very common error. I too have suffered from this but after about 15 hours of fighting with it.. I fix it. I could not use the ALT + F10 keys as I would get the D2D32 Type Mismatch Error. So lucky me when I got my laptop from acer I made the recovery DVD's just in case. But to my suprise Booting from the DVD disk also would fail with the D2D32 Type Mismatch error. I even try maken new recovery disk with some luck. the new disk worked one time. But I started to run the recovery on disk one and when it asked for disk 2 I hit the power button thinking it would still boot, as I didnt want to wait for the recovery process to complete. So I ended up with a acer laptop with no o/s installed and was not able to use the Alt + F10 as explaned above or Boot using the recovery DVD's... so how did I fix this little set back... simple

I broke out the windows xp install Boot cd and Booted my system with that. let it run all the way to the partation/Format section on windows xp setup. I left the partation as it was and formatted it with the quick option. BE VERY CAREFUL AT THIS STEP... MAKE SURE YOU DONT FORMAT THE WRONG PARTATION THE 9 GIG OR 10 GIG IS WRONG. IT WAS DRIVE LETTER F: ON MY SYSTEM. JUST MAKE SURE IT IS DRIVE LETTER C: THAT YOU FORMAT...After it was done with the format I powerd down the system and tried to Boot from the Recovery DVD and it worked. No D2D32 Type Mismatch error. "{ But I let it finish this time around"} So to keep it simple. all you need to do is keep the partation the same, just format it and it your recovery will work. both ALT + F10 and /or the DVD"S Boot. it the ALT+F10 by chance dont work... theres a quick fix also. you need to files called MBRwrWin.exe and RTMBR2.bin and they have to be on the root of drive c:...{Root - just copy them to C: } and then from a command prompt with Adminastration {right click cmd } and type MBRwrWin install Rtmbr2.bin <Enter> ALT + F10 is now ready and fixed...

if you need help let me know or just to give some feed back
email me at cyberburn666@yahoo.com
Good luck it works. I just went from on os installed to vista... with factory recovery working like the day I got it....

Type mismatch in MSFlexGrid Control

type mismatch error occours when there is a mismatch between the value which you are trying to assign to a variable which is dimensioned to store values of another, first you check if the datatypes match each other by applying the break.

Hi,

I would guess you are running windows Vista. This is a VBscript runtime error. To fix this,

goto Start > All Programs > Accessories > then right click on "command prompt" , choose run as administrator

in command prompt type in:

regsvr32 vbscript.dll

hit enter

Try installing now..

Hope this fixes your problem!

Microsoft autoroute

Hello Sir / Madam,

1.If you are using Microsoft Windows XP or an earlier version, click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.

If you are using WindowsVista, click Start clip_image001.jpg, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then click Regedit in the Programs list.2.Delete the following subkeys from the registry:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.MapPoint.WiFiScanner.1
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.MapPoint.WiFiScanResult
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.MapPoint.WiFiScanResult.1
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.MapPoint.WiFiScanResults10
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.MapPoint.WiFiScanResults10.1
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.MapPoint.WiFiScanner

Note Make sure that you delete every registry key because you will receive a different error message every time that you install the program.3.Install the program that you want.

Re-installing error 1606

Delete the key (registry path) listed in the error from the Windows Registry, and run the installation again.
or if that doesn't work, I read this from another post.

Try the following to fix the probelem:
1. Run regedit.
2. go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
3. In User Shell Folder find the Value Name "Recent" and rename it to say "RecentOld".
4. Next create a Expandable String Value.
5. The value name will be "Recent" and the value date will be "%USERPROFILE%\Recent".
6. When your done your entry should look like this:

Name: Recent
Type: REG_EXPAND_SZ
Data: %USERPROFILE%\Recent

This should take care of your problem.
