Question about Dryers
How do I replace my dryer's belt?
Its all pretty simple really, nuts and bolts, take the back of, at the bottem there will be a motor, on it will be one end of the belt the rest goes on a large pully on the drum, wip it off, if it wont come of easy, loosen the motor fixings, the motor should pivot , this is a tensioning mechanism, refit the new belt, put some tension on it by wedging or prying the motor with a large screw driver or bar , then retighten, the rest is a reverse of dismantling, the motor may need a little coaxing as the fixings are stiff, a socket and spanner set would be handy as well as some grips or water pump pliers. Good Luck the Yeti
