Question about Bunn 10 Cup Home Coffee Brewer
Is this problem happening by chance after you have used the maker? If so the heat from the previous use may be causing the water to steam from being so hot and thus causing the pot to be only half full. the hotter the maker the more water evaporates. You might need to let it cool down in between pots.

If you don't make coffee regularly, daily, the water will evaporate. If its been a few days since you made a pot, pour a small amount of water in before placing the filter and grounds in the cup. When the water runs out, you know you have a full tank and will get a full pot.
