No display showing

i turned off my pc one night.and the next day when i turned it on, there was no display showing. i checked the internal graphics and it was ok. i even checked with a new graphics card and it was ok too. i didn't change the bios or change any settings in windows. what seems to be the problem?

Laptop or desktop?
Have you got access to another monitor you can try?
