If the buttons don't latch in, the machine is not in credit. Put on free play or put some money in.

I have a 1964 rockola princess and I just got it for Christmas . Right now it doesn't play. I have power to it but it will not select. The carisell is also not rotating. Any suggestions ?

Inside usually on the front of the mech is a three way switch.
"OFF" in the middle and "SCAN or OPERATE" on the outsides.
First hold the switch on SCAN to see if the carousel turns.
If it does, put the switch to operate, it may turn some more but then it should stop, or if there are some selections left on it should play them. If it stops then make sure you can give the machine a "CREDIT" either by dropping a coin in if the coin mech works or find the credit button inside and flick it a few times to see if it puts on credits. If everything's ok you should be able to use the keys to select. If you need more help email me or maybe we could Skype.

If it still wont select, check the pulse amplifier. It plugs into the selection receiver chassis and has the RCA plug on the top. Open it up and change the capacitor(s) and there is a high value resistor in there as well CHANGE IT! It is commonly bad. Also check the tube, and replace it if it;s ? or weak.

I have a 1962 Wurlitzer 1015 which has a Selection and Credit computer for coins credits. There was this Auto mode which used to be able to use but now, the jukebox can only operate one disc at a time. ...

It would not be 1962 as CDs weren't invented.
Continuous play is achieved by flipping the Continuous Play switch on the right of the computer. Or using the Option button on the remote control. One or the other plugs into GREEN plug on the left side of the computer. If the plug is off it won't work.

The coin mechanism is hard to push the coin slider, but it works.

Coin mech is held in place with 4 screw heads in key hole slots.

Move the mechinisim UPWARDS about 3mm and wiggle it around to disengage the screws.
The hex bar is only used to stop the mech going upwards.

What exactly do you mean by "shut off before all the 45's were rejected" ? The mech only load one record at a time, either from the left or right side of the carousel. If the power was shut off before a record unloaded from the turntable, you can manually return the mech to the start position. Do this by getting in to the back of the juke. on the upper right, near the top of the deck, there is a motor. There should be a little white gear coming from the bottom of it. I am assuming if you look in the middle of the mech, you will see a cam with a lobe on one side of it. Turning the white gear will advance the mech adn turn the cam counter clockwise. As the lobe on the cam nears the front of the mech, the record lifting arms should pull down clear of the carousel and return the record to the carousel. Stop turning the gear when the lobe of the cam has driven the lifting arms downward. Inspect your pin bank and push down any "popped" pins. This will prevent the juke from trying to start when you turn it back on.

Hope this helps
