Have you checked the heating element to see if it's bad? The easiest way to determine if it's bad is to turn the dryer on without clothes in it and let it run for about 30 seconds and then open the door while its running and if you see a orange glow then your element is fine if not then it's probably bad. If you don't see the orange glow then you'll need to pull it apart and look at the element and if it's bad you should be able to see a break in the metal.
Good luck!

I have Samsung gas dryer model DV410. no heat, replaced two thermal fuse and hi low limit. Now it only works with timed cycle mode. the rest mode, it runs only for least the 5 minutes and shut off.

timed cycle mean dryer not on sensor dry mode. check wire connection on moisture sensor bars (i think you forget to put 2 wire connector put together). when you use other cycle dryer use moisture sensor to dry cloths so sensor not working dryer will stop in 5 minutes or so because dryer think there are no wet cloths to dry. hope this help you.

Why is my inglis dryer not drying?

You must have a gas dryer. Assuming it is a gas dryer, the ignitor is working because she glows. the flame sensor is also working because the ignitor shuts down. The only other thing in the assembly is the solenoids which tend to work properly but short and die when warm, then when cool will work some more much later. very difficult to diagnose. Replace the solenoids and party on Amigo.

It takes the dryer 2 hours to dry the clothes. I always make sure lint filter is cleaned after each cycle.

Hello there and thanks for choosing fixya
Note: Normal drying time for a dryer is about 45 minutes (some may take up to an hour).

1. Venting
Make sure the dryer vent hose, as well as the rest of the vent duct, is not clogged.

Unless regular maintenance is performed, chances are there is a lot of lint accumulated inside the dryer. This might affect the drying time and could be a fire hazard. Make sure to have your dryer cleaned regularly. Because this might involve taking most of the dryer apart, it is recommended to have a qualified appliance repairman perform this task.

2. Thermostat
There are a couple of cycling thermostats inside the dryer. If one of them breaks down, it might affect the dryer's performance. Replace the defective thermostat.

3. Heating element
A heating element might only be partially burned out, in which case it would still work but will take longer time to dry the clothes. Replace the element if found defective.
3. Thermal fuse
Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

It will not turn on. Has been used before and suddenly wouldn't work. The inside light works - so we know it is getting power. The timer for the timed dry ticks, so that part is working. But it does not...

Roper dryer stopped working during cycle REX6634RQO

replace your t-fuse again but also chekc to see if the vent going outside is restricted. if hte vent is smashed or clogged the heat has nowhere to go. i would say that is your issue. clean your vent before you change he t-fuse.

Dryer stop working

Reach inside and turn the drum by hand. If it feels stiff you may need to inspect the rollers, glides and idler assembly for wear. They can bind up the motor and cause it to shut down on internal motor overload,

Frigidaire AEQ8000 dryer doesn't completely dry clothes

1. Gas valve coilsIgniter glows, then shuts off without igniting gas - the problem is probably with defective coils (black, located on top of the gas valve). It is recommended to replace all coils (usually two or three) if found defective.

Note: Sometimes the whole gas valve may be defective, thus not letting the gas out. However, this problem is not common.

2. Thermal fuse
Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Note: It is recommended by most dryer manufacturers to replace a hi-limit thermostat when replacing a thermal fuse.

3. Igniter
Igniter may burn out or break. Replace the igniter if found defective.

Note: Igniters are very fragile and break easily. It is recommended to handle the igniter only touching the ceramic part of it (usually white in color).

4. Flame sensor (or radiant heat sensor)
Replace the sensor (located near the igniter) if found defective.
