Question about Kenmore Dryers
Kenmore Gas Dryer Model #110-70002991 The dryer will heat up for the first 5 minutes of the cycle - then goes cold, but continues to tumble. If I wait for a time, I can repeat the pattern. I've looked online and it sounds like a gas valve coil issue - however, when trying to find info on a part, Sears indicates that it is a tech only repair and I must schedule a repair appt. Does this sound legit? I'd be happy to have a repairman do this - but I also don't want them to come out and then discover that the repair is more than a new dryer! I'd really like to attempt it by myslef, is possible! Thanks!
You should be able to order the parts thru Appliance Parts Pros which is advertised on this site. Make sure all gas and electricity is cut off if you do it yourself. Hope this helps!
