Question about Konica Minolta magicolor 2430 DL Laser Printer
My 1+ year old printer has been printing a solid black line from top to bottom on the right side of the paper--anywhere from absent to barely visible to almost 1/4" thick, depending on the paper guides. My drum seems to have some toner buildup in that area, but even after cleaning it off, the line still remains. If I have the paper pushed all the way to the left (leaving the paper guides open all the way and manually holding the paper toward the left side), the line is thinner. It used to go away doing this, but now this is not even preventing it from printing this line. The display says the drum is at the end of its life, but I'm otherwise still getting good print quality. Is it really time to replace the drum (again! $$) or can I fix this problem to get more life out of it?
Sry but you have to change drum cartridge, the line is caused form drums cleaning system, and it cant be repaired.
