Question about OKI B4300 Led Printer

Oki b4300 Led printer misfeed.

I know this oki is anchent...the problem I am having is: As the leading edge of the paper passes the picker roller it goes under the drum toner sensor and stops at a set of under-over rollers (top one being metal). The oki then gives me a paper jam error. I clear the paper and try again...I may get 1 or 2 sheets to print but then a paper jam in that exact just stops at that set of rollers everytime...might it be a worn picker? I have cleaned all the rollers and reoved any dirt or dust with a can of air and a moist rag(it is very clean) I dont know what else to do...any ideas on this relic?

Unfortanly, this did not solve the probelm but it did give me somthing else to think about. The rollers I refered to in my last post are under the toner cartridge, just after the picker roller and toner drum sensor and are partially covered by a plastic piece that covers the picker roller.

Yeah. I believe it's the "Rego rollrs" that I was refering to in my posts thank you for your input on this. I am fairly confident it IS a switch issue. So I will be taking appart a couple of these printers to see if I can figure out what these switches do and how they do it. Thank you for your time and insight you have been very helpful.

No worn picker cause it is getting past paper rego area and stopping at the fuser.Check to see if bottom fuser roller (orange rubber one under metal one) is wrincled or the plastic coating is coming off to the side

If not then one of the paper path switchs is sticking sometimes down and not springing back (common)  when paper has exited area.there is 3 or 4

Fuser rollers two big dia. rollers one coated (or a belt) and one orange rubber, one paper has exited the fuser roller paper is guided to exit roller for delevery.

Sound like a switch issue if paper path is clear and feed roller is clean and "grippy" have fun!

Paper Jam in OKI B4300 Led Printer

This printer is designed with a dual toner/drum chamber. Do not separate these two parts. Upon opening the lid, you will find the toner/drum assembly right in front of you. Pick it up with both hands and pull straight up. After that, you should be able to take the jammed papers. Know this: once a paper is jammed, printing another paper will NEVER take the first out. Just make sure to remove the complete papers. If they break, make sure you extract all the pieces.
