Question about Sanyo 26in LCD 720p HDTV - LCD TVs
I am using a Gateway pc with windows 8.1. I am using a Sanyo HDTV LCD. I can watch tv and dvd with it. However, when I turn to pc reciever I get the logo of my pc then when it switches to windows I get a black screen - how can I fix this?
Try adjusting your resolution before you plug the tv into the pc. a 26" shouldn't cause this problem, but it may. Give it a try. If this doesn't work, try finding a driver on the Sanyo website for that pc and download or repair the existing driver. You'll need to use another monitor, of course. I hope you have one.

Hi there! The panel may be in protection mode. The Inverter board is the most logical area to start after checking power supply Voltages.(5,6,24 and 13Volts). There may be coils on the Inverter Board which have bad soldering or faulty. Other than this it may be main board which controls switch on or off. If all else fails, refer to a repairer. Beware of High Current!!! Best Wishes and Good Luck, Jus004

If your Tv is in warranty or you have a cover plan, you need to return the Tv for repair or replacement.Your Tv sounds like it has a power supply fault.
