My siemens 4100 has a problem that I cannot connect. The power button will not turn it on. If I am verrrrry careful I can get it to turn on. I called AT&T and they said my modem is defective. They advised me to buy a new one. I would think they would give me a new one since I am getting my internet from them

Check your invoice and make sure that you aren't renting the modem from them. If you aren't renting it unfortunately you own it. Modems are pretty cheap though. If you need help finding one, let me know and I can provide some prices.
