Question about Polaris New Genuine Polaris Snowmobile Accessories / X Treme Sidecut / Out of Bound
1999 Polaris 340 lite motor runs fine rpms no problem but sometimes it wont move.if you pick the back end up track moves fine. set it down and it wont move...sometmes
It could be the belt is worn too thin and the clutch won't engage. Try a new belt and see if that solves the problem. Hope this helps.

Hi and welcome to FixYa!
If that's the case then you may have a worn or loose vacuum hose somewhere. If there's a vacuum leak it can weaken the engine. Please try to observe the vacuum hoses if it has leakage.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

IT COULD BE A NUMEBER OF THINGS, I WOULD CHECK YOUR DIVE SHAFT AND JACK SHAFT BEARINGS, THAN YOUR CLUTCHES FOR WORN PARTS. IF THAT IS OK CHECK YOUR CHAIN AND SPROKETS. THAN DO A COMPRESSION TEST ON YOUR ENGINE.
