Whirlpool ice maker
Ice maker is not making ice. Have checked the valve, no air bubbles. Cleaned and still no water. Is there some kind of sensor involved?

When you say you checked the Valve, did you check the Supply valve that feeds water to the fridge, or the Solenouid valve that usually casues this problem. Unplug your Fridge and roll it away from the wall. Remove the rear access panel and trace the water supply tubing to the solenoid valve. Lots of time the valve is bad. You can get a replacement Solenoid. at any Appliance part store, or online at www.repairclinic.com.
If you did check that. You can get a coupling that will adapt from the water supply directly to the line coming from the solenouid to pressure up and see if you actually have a flow problem between the solenoid valve and ice tray.
