Depends on what spilled on it. and whether it was powered up when it happened. If the board still works, take it out of the TV and try a spray cleaner meant for circuit boards. If it doesn't work you may need to replace the fuse and any other components that caused the fuse to blow.

Water damage receiver

Possibly. Use an alcohol based electrical parts cleaner. The syrup would leave a residue anywhere it dried. You would have to use pipe cleaners and cotton swabs to clean any connection points, jacks, buttons, switches or knobs and anything to do with the power supply. Then still hope for the best. Might be easier to just replace it! Good luck.

Was watching tv and it just turned off by itself and will not come back on. I checked the power, the cable, the outlet any other suggestions? The unit is 7yrs old. Thanks, Neal

I think that your power supply is already damage. Try to check the main power supply, whn checking the main power supply you should unplug first your tv, open the back cover of your tv. then try to follow the ac cord their you will find the main power supply, try to check if their is an oil spilled or something like a wet markings in the pcb if you see something like that the capacitors are leaky, try to replace the capacitor the one with a oil spill at the bottom. Try to observe the polarity and be very careful because some of the capacitor even you unplug your tv still have a electric cherge.

Loss power after that there something in screen like sparking like thunder

Possible failure of the display driver circuit or the back light circuit. This can also be a failure of the capacitors in the board or the power supply.
So you need to open and check on the power supply and board for bursted/bulged capacitors. Clean the electrolytic that had oozed out , replace the capacitors , check the power supply voltages and reset.

Have a Toshiba L505D-GS6000 laptop that had juice spilled onto the keyboard. Now it does not power on. I heard that I will most likely have to replace the motherboard. Is there anything else that ma have...

Replacing the motherboard would be the worst condition. Try bringing it to the service center first. It could just be the power supply or other thing.

Wet laptop

Water = No more warranty. You or a friend can open up this laptop (be careful and take note of all screws and parts) Remove logicboard (aka motherboard) and take a tooth brush and rubbing alcohol mixed with water and scrub that logicboard down - remove any corrosion, then let dry for a day (water between chips & board dry slowly). We've fixed submerged Apple laptops this way, and one all corrosion removed, laptop will have a 90% chance of working again. You really can't kill an Apple with water - you only really put it into a coma. The faster you can get electricity (battery or power adapter) removed after water incident, the less corrosion you will likely have to clean up after drying. Apple laptops generally have short safety's on the logicboard to keep the board from burning up if it senses a short and they won't power up until the short is removed.
You can fix it!

No Sound/drivers fine/possible board issue

Yes; sad to say, but your board probably will need replacing. Spilling drinks on your computers, esp laptops, isn't a good thing to do. I have never experienced spilling anything on my computers personally, but I know other people why have, and the motherboard is what they had to replace.
