Question about Frigidaire 13 cu. ft. / 368 liter Chest Freezer FFC13C3A
I just bought a new power cord for my deep freezer . When I plugged up the new cord, the little green light on the front of the freezer comes on and I can hear the motor running , but the freezer is not getting cold ?

never use a extension cord unless it is of a larger gauge wire size eg: #12. as opposed to standard #16 or #14. the compressor/motor will not get needed power and burns out.

Louise, this is a big area. I would switch off the fridge, look at the back where you see the" box things". You should see a timer which is white or black (wires comming out of it).. It has a short type of knob which can be turned manually clockwise.. Turn about a 1/4 turn then try and switch on again. If not, thermostat will be the problem. Assuming you never disrupted any wires.

I had the same problem.Light came on but nothing else.not even the temp control.That what my problem was the temp control which is a easy fix and it cost about 50 dollars
