Aiwa cxna22 The head phone jack in the front is broken and if I don't have a piece of copper or something jammed into the "top" of the jack it will only play sounds through the left speaker (if your facing it). Is this repairable bay any easy means?

SOURCE: Sound not coming from left side surround sound speaker or my right side front speaker

it is highly likely that you're TV is outputting mono sound, hence the left channel only. check your physical connections to the TV and the balance / channel volume on the television as well.

SOURCE: headphone jack broken speakers wont work

Yes, since the Headphone pin is stuck in the Jack, you are not getting audio from Speakers.

You should have noticed that connecting the headphones to the Jack will block the audio coming from the Speakers and the same is the current situation.

You can either try removing the blocked part using a Tweaser or get it repaired.

SOURCE: Dell latitude D620, no speaker sound

you will have to uninstall your audio device, and uninstall SKYPE and re install the audio device and don't re install SKYPE, you can do this by going to add or remove programs, and remove SKYPE first and unplug u r headset and mic, and after removing skype you can reboot the computer, and sometimes the conflict is resolved, otherwise then go into your device manager in system manager and find audio devices, unistall the driver or Update the driver, and reinstall it and the reboot, that should take care of the problem.

Hi ya

Well Aiwa stereos are very hard to open and designs to break when opening, however some models can be opening without too much issue.

So before you try to open the item, try these if you have some switch cleaner or alcohol tape head cleaner - put a little drop onto the headphone jack and insert and move around the socket just incase there is dirt on the contacts inside, also clean the tape head too just incase of the same,

if not then its an open up, sometime the solders come loose, so with a soldering iron just warm the solders up a little this may fix it.

if this does not it may be a broken part inside the jack - they can be replaced but not easy - spares can be got from ebay from china, for about 1.00gbp

hope this helps

Problem: Nail jam due to improper degree of nails Question: How do I take apart the nail gun so as to get the jammed nails out?

Try removing stuck nails without taking apart gun. Remove remaining nails from rails. Use long piece of allen wrench or similar hard steel and grind the end to allow for jamed nail (I use a broken driver blade ground slightly thinner to allow for stuck nail). Use heavy brass or copper hammer to push driver up to top of cylinder. If after a couple of heavy blows the driver does not move, remove the head of the gun and pull out the cylinder and place the body of the gun on plywood. This will protect the head from damage. Good luck

Printer says error 6000 printer mx320 series

Hi,

According to you this error indicates that the purge unit is not giving the correct timing signal as it rotates inside 360 degrees. Therefore, something is either broken or jammed inside. If you had a paper jam and tried to forcefully pull it out, you could have pulled the internal gears out of alignment. If it doesn't help you then open the printer cover and when the carriage head moves to center pull out the power cord. The Purge unit is on the right side. Use a flashlight and you will see two ink pads. This is where the print-head is PARKED and is the top of the Purge unit. There you will find wiper blades that move from the rear to the front. They wipe the bottom of the print-head when it is parked.
Use some rubber gloves and a paper towel and see if you can press the ink pads down just a little bit - about 1/4". See if for some reason the wiper blade is stuck extended; if so see if you can get it unstuck. Please do this gently such that you don't break anything there.

So you will need to do some maneuvers to try to release the cartridge from its parking position. Again, don't try hard. It will help you.

Aiwa AV-D57 , it has no power, the little red light will come on but that is it, it makes a clicking sound when pushing the power button, i checked the small fuse inside and it is good, what can be the...

assuming something isnt blown it sounds like you are having the same problem as me. when you remove the top of the of cover of the unit you will need to look in the back left hand corner of the unit where the power cable comes in. next to the fuse is a small black box that has a relay inside. you will need to remove the outside cover of this relay. make sure the power is unplugged on the unit before you go playing around the 120v input area, but once the power is removed, you will need to remove that cover. you should be able to get it with your fingers, but if not grap it with a pair of needle nose or something. more than likely the cover will crack if not break into a million pieces due to being brittle from years in the heat of your amp. its ok if it does. inside of this you will see a small relay which looks like a coil of small copper wire. on the top (side opposite the board it is connected to) is a silver piece of metal and if you push down on it, it should move like a lever causing two small copper pieces to the left to make contact. (warning: if you know about electronics and relays skip to the next paragraph) basically the coil of wire is an electromagnet. when you try to turn on the unit it powers that electromagnet pulling the shiny piece on top down as long as the unit has power forcing those to copper pieces together, which allows voltage to pass through the circuit just like flipping a light switch.

Your relay is too weak for whatever reason to force the circuit shut and will either click one good time or maybe a couple of times. you may even find that if you keep hitting the button it will come on eventually. unless you are good at soldering and want to waste the money I dont suggest replacing the relay. what I did for the cheapest fix possible was use some electrical tape and wrapped it around the relay forcing the contacts permanantly closed. Now be warned that if something else is wrong with your unit, or you short something in the future you may or may not have the type of protection you would normally have because this relay will not open. it may just blow the internal fuse if something shorts, it may fry the unit. I cant say for sure, because I havnt had that happen. so avoid shorting things or throwing bits of metal shavings and screws inside the unit while powered and you should have a working unit.

Says it keeps jamming, but there is no jam. Seems paper feed doesn't work.

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.
This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing.

That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it.
It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.

So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

How do you remove a broken wire in the wire liner with no wire exposed at either end of the liner?

Remove the lead completely from the welder and remove the tip Strip all of the insulation off of larger piece of copper electrica wire (probably #12) and push it through the lead. You need to use the largest size copper wire that will fit in the lead so that the stuk wire does NOT jam against the inside of the lead. It is a **** shoot as to whether or not you can clear the lead to the weld head. If you know you folded the wire inside the lead you can try making a "tight" hook with a piece of the wire weld wire to try and hook the piece that folded over. Good Luck!

Check with a small torch, to ensure that there is no tape broken arround the pinch roller or head, if there was no tape broken away, between the pinch roller and the cassette head there is a white cassette bar, this may have become bent.

Only one earphone works, weird problem

there is a broken solder joint where it is on the pc board.it is not the earbud itself, because when you pull it out, both sides work.the jack has 3 sections, the tip which is one side, the next piece, which is the other side, and the shank piece which is the ground.the ground connects to the outside ring of the headphone jack.there are 2 contact points inside for the two channels.what happens is the copper foil of the pc board fractures where the pins are soldered.scrape away some of the foil so that copper is exposed for the pins, and resolder it and it will work if you wiggle the jack, you will see the whole piece of circuit board move where it is cracked.after fixing it,put epoxy over the area to make it stronger.

My guitar hero world tour drum kit is broken

If you know how to solder, you can resolder the wire back onto the connector. I just did that tonight actually. the orange cymbal has a white wire and a black/bare copper wire. You can cut open the male connector [I use an exact-o knife along the underside mold line] (one side only) so you can just slide the wires/connector back into it. The white would solder onto the base of the male connector. The bare copper thats wrapped around the white one is the black/bare copper wire mentioned above. This one is soldered to the tip [the solder point inside that small black plastic piece] of the connector. Once you have it soldered, just slip the male connector rubber piece back into place and use some super glue to glue back together.I wrap it in electrical tape just so its definitely secured. If wire length is an issue, simply solder some wire extensions before soldering to the male connector/plug.
