The phone has frozen. you may need to reset the software to get it running again. But you might loose your data if you flash the phone. I hope you don't have a problem with the screen. sometimes too, when the memory space is filled up, it freezes up. Take out the battery for some hours and try again. if it does not resume, then you may have to flash the phone to reset it to factory setting. Cheers!

Can't use Camera it say: "Camera on Standby

hi there!

the camera really goes on standby when you turn on the camera but you wont use it for a couple of minutes. but it should come alive once you press the camera button or any keys. if thats not happening, it may have been stuck there (if there are many programs open at the same time, its going to hang) so just powercycling the phone (turn off, remove battery, simcard, memory card) leave it like that for 2mins, put everything back in. if after turning it on, the camera still on standby, you may need to take to out for repair since there's no safe software out there i will recommend to reset the phone, better safe than sorry right =)

Samsung Star GT-S5230 Unlocked Phone with Full Touch Screen Quad-Band GSM Bluetooth, 3.2 MP Camera, have a card slot to put a sim card?

The sim card is inserted above the battery which is located on the back of the phone. The attached photo shows what you will see under the battery cover. First, turn the phone off. To remove the battery, start by removing the battery cover which is the back cover of the phone. Press on the back cover in the center next to the camera and pull the cover down towards the bottom of the phone. The cover should slide off. Slide the sim card, face down with the "notch" on the top right side of the sim up underneath the small metal receptacle designed for the sim card. If you do not see the receptacle, look for an etching of the sim card on the phone that is above and to the right of the sim card receptacle. wickerjk.jpg

I have a Samsung Intensity cell phone. I bought a

The Intensity has a slot for a MicroSD card -- is that the kind of removable memory you bought? (Anything bigger won't fit.)

Turn your phone off, and then pry off the back cover by using the little slot at the top of the phone (near the camera). There's a little groove where you can slip your finger in and pop the back cover off.

When the cover is off and you're looking at the phone's battery, the MicroSD slot is to the left, just above the camera button on the side of the phone. Stick the memory card in the slot (it should only fit in one way) and then reattach the back cover and turn the phone on.

Camera wont turn on

How I fixed my Camera:

> First take your Memory card off, and remove battery
> Now, leave your camera without battery-power
=(wait for while!)

>Then,start your camera WITHOUT Memory-Card.

Note: MiniSD Card with adapter, may crash/freeze camera.
(so use the real "one piece" SD-card, not that Micro-thing!)

>When i removed the old SD card, everything was OK.

I hope this can help many others?
