Question about Toshiba Satellite L455DS5976
A function key f10 seems to be stuck
I would try cleaning your keyboard. If you are gentle you can remove the F10 key and check that they is no dirt underneath. Check other keys near the F10 key in case others have the same problem. I know that a sugary Cola spillage on a keyboard really sticks things up. In that case it was easiest to get a new keyboard.

Utilize the numLK button located in the upper right area of the keyboard. Depending on the layout, you may need to press it in conjunction with the Fn or Shift key.

SOURCE: keyboard keys non functional
I spilled a little water on my keyboard as well.Just a few drops not much but the keyboard stopped working , some of the keys at least.I bought a new keyboard from the Internet and it works like a charm now.
They have pretty good install pictures on this site.I watched the pictures and replaced the keyboard myself. It took me no more than 20 min.I payed something like 20-30 bucks for the keyboard.
I called a shop here in Vegas and they were asking 75 just to "diagnose the problem".
