The hardware error indicated on your printer is indicating that the printer is encountering problems when moving the print head.
This error can be indicated if there is any thing which may be preventing print head movement, things you can check include;
The printer ribbon is not jammed and is located correctly in the printer, You can also check to ensure there is no paper jam of loose paper which may prevent print head movement, You can also check the carriage shaft to ensure it is free from paper dust or any other obstructions. With the printer powered off, the print head should slide freely across the width of the printer, you can then see if there is any obstruction to the printhead
Hi, the printer seems to have a problem with the horizontal movement of the print head carriage. Turn of the printer and move the carriage by hand to check if there is an area where it can only be moved too hard. If yes, clean the carriage shaft from dirt, etc.
