    Hi Joe,

It seems that the cord is O.K.I have had it tested.

I'm not sure how to proceed further to remedy the problem.

Hi Pat,

Most printers do not have an internal fuse. Most of the times its the transformer in the power cord and that must be replaced. Assuming it did not get wet and that it did not get a voltage spike from a storm it may have just overheated. If it has a special connector on it such as a three prong when going into the printer it is sometimes cheaper to replace the printer then the cord itself.

Their is a problem somewhere and answer is the blown fuse in the power distribution box under the bonnet ,so no doubt its blown the fuse again and the answer is to find out why ,if it hasnt blown the fuse again then their is a break in the power cable to where it goes to next which is the internal fuse box so check the cable froim the big fuse to the internal fuse board for damage .

No brake lights

Either
the bulbs have blown or
the lamp outage module has blown if it has one (some did some didn't for this year) or
a fuse or relay has blown, or
the most likely culprit is a faulty brake light switch -- you will find this attached to your brake pedal

If the main amp section does not have it's own fuses, then the fuse might have blown, because the amp has gone. However I think it is highly likely that you have taken out the main amp, especially if it is a single IC that does all the work. You should try and determine if the amp section is getting power before replacing it.

The system has detected a fault in the output section. How much are you asking of the system? Greater than 50%? That will push most systems to their limit in a short period of time...accordianman
