IS YOUR GAS COUPLING FITTED CORRECTLY? (THEY HAVE A HABIT OF CROSSING THEIR THREADS AND DON'T OPEN THE VALVE ON THE BOTTLE), IS THE GAS BOTTLE EMPTY OR ITS VALVE FAULTY? (CHANGE THE BOTTLE), IS YOUR GAS FILTER CHOKED?, CHECK ALL OF YOUR VACUM HOSE'S AROUND THE INLET MANIFOLD, CARB AND GAS REGULATOR. IF NONE OF THESE WORK THEN CONTACT ME BACK WITH AS MUCH INFO AS POSSIBLE (GOOD LUCK)

check for a faulty / blocked accelerator pump /circuit as this fits the lack of fuel squirt on acceleration description. Also check the timing of the ignition.

Mower carburator trouble i think

Soooo...You haven't said what the problem is. What "result" is the same?? Is it stalling or is it just not running at full power? If it starts fine and idles fine but then stalls or doesn't have power when you juice it, it sounds like a fuel problem. It is unlikely a carb issue if it gets regular use and as long as its not sitting for long periods of time. I would first check the fuel filter. If that's fine, then I would check the vent hole on the gas cap (if you have one). If it is a gravity-fed fuel system and the vent hole on the gas cap is clogged with dirt, dust, and debris, then the gas will not flow to the carb fast enough and you'll get a very lean mixture. Sure, it will idle fine because the engine isn't demanding much fuel at idle, but when you open up the throttle it will stall because the air:fuel ratio will be too high (symptomatic of a lean mixture) Last thought: Dirty air filter Hope this helps

Can't get gas to 22hp Kohler. I have check the filter, lines and the fuel pump. Tank is half full and when the engine spins over, no gas. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

It is unlikely a carb issue if it gets regular use and as long as its not sitting for long periods of time. Check the vent hole on the gas cap (if you have one). If it is a gravity-fed fuel system and the vent hole on the gas cap is clogged with dirt, dust, and debris, then the gas will not flow to the carb fast enough and you'll get a very lean mixture. This is because the engine exhaust cycle creates a vacuum which siphons fuel from the gas tank to the carbs- and if the vent hole is clogged the fuel wont flow. Sure, it will idle fine because the engine isn't demanding much fuel at idle, but when you open up the throttle it will stall because the air:fuel ratio will be too high (symptomatic of a lean mixture) Clear out the vent hole in the gas cap and see if t Hope this helps

Ford 460 loses power then dies. Starts back up. Idles fine.

It sounds like you might have a clogged catalatic converter on the exhaust system.
